Alumnus alumnus Tevfik Demirciftci (’20 PhD Hospitality Administration) and professors Amanda Belarmino and Carola Raab (both Hospitality) authored article, "An application of choice-based conjoint analysis to measure willingness to pay for casino buffets" was recently published in the International Hospitality Review.
The article posed the question: Have you ever wondered what factors impact how much people are willing to pay for a buffet on the fabulous Las Vegas Strip? Through a survey of 483 respondents who had visited a casino buffet in the previous two years, the researchers found that the answer is "food quality" followed by "price" and "service quality."
