Michael Lane Bruner (Communication Studies) just published his latest book with the University of South Carolina Press: Rhetorical Unconsciousness and Political Psychoanalysis. The book describes and analyzes various unconscious forms of persuasion that work to structure our social and political worlds, often with pathological consequences. A precis of the book's argument was published in the journal Philosophy and Rhetoric last summer.
