UNLV executive chef Joshua Cosby (Event Services) was selected to compete in the 2025 Aramark Collegiate Hospitality Culinary Excellence (ACE) Regional Competition and
ACE spotlights Aramark’s culinary talent in alignment with American Culinary Federation (ACF) standards. It provides an opportunity for Aramark chefs to showcase their passion for excellence in a competitive, exciting environment. The competition will be at the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality at UNLV on Wednesday, April 2. Eight of the top chefs from the West Region of Aramark will compete to determine the best chef in the West Region. Cosby will represent UNLV, and this will be his second time competing in the ACE Competition, the other time being in 2019 when he placed fourth.
Cosby will also compete in the Battle of the West championship at the University of New Mexico during the week of April 28. He won his previous three battles, winning against competitors from UNLV, Nevada State University, and Western New Mexico University.
