Joseph Morgan and Alain Bengochea (both Early Childhood, Multilingual, and Special Education) were awarded the Full Service Community Schools Grant through the U.S. Department of Education office of innovation and improvement in the amount of $2.5 million to implement a project titled ReInvent Schools Las Vegas - Community Schools Initiative. This is a project in partnership with the city of Las Vegas, UNLV, and the Clark County School District to implement full-service community schools on three elementary school campuses in the city.
