John Mercer (Kinesiology & Nutrition Science; UNLV Sports Innovation Institute) and Alina Swafford (Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences) were the senior and lead authors on the paper "Core temperature while swimming in warm water wearing a triathlon wetsuit" in Science & Sport. This paper also featured UNLV alumni co-authors Boram Lim (Texas A&M - Kingsville) and Kate Conroy (University of Texas - El Paso).
