Associate professor John McMurtery (Music) performed in the 2023 U.N. Day Concert as part of United Nations Day. The program took place at the General Assembly Hall at the United Nations building in New York City. Under the theme of "The Frontlines of Climate Action," the concert presented the power of the human spirit to combat the climate crisis, while also highlighting the challenges faced by Small Island Developing States and other frontline communities across the globe that bear the brunt of the devastating impact of climate change.
