Hyelin Kim (Hospitality) and coauthors wrote the article "Enhancing the Quality of Life of Senior Tourists: A Theoretical Perspective," which recently was published in An International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Research . Their research shows that when senior tourists recognize goal attainment in leisure travel, their travel and life satisfaction tend to increase considerably. Hence, travel firms and organizations that plan and provide goal-oriented senior travel programs may have a competitive edge over their competitors.
