Hyelin Kim (Hospitality) and co-authors recently published their article, "Why Not this Destination? The Effects of Travel Constraints of Independent Travelers on Destination Image Formation," in the International Journal of Tourism Research. The aim of the study is to understand the factors that prevent independent travelers from selecting smaller regions (i.e. relatively less popular destinations) and examine the impact of these constraint factors on destination image formation.
Additionally, Kim and co-authors recently published their article, "Touristification Phenomenon and Support for Tourism Development," in Anatolia: An International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Research. The study examines the impacts of touristification on different life domains and on residents’ overall quality of life.
