On June 23, 2023, Hikmet Loe (Art History) participated in Critical Ground, hosted by Granary Art Center in Ephraim, Utah. The day-long exploration of arts criticism generated conversation to move dialogue outside the art centers of New York City and Los Angeles. Loe's performative talk, which was reinvisioned in a paper, posits how art criticism can be decentered through explorations of place, history, and language.
