Christopher Cain (Hospitality), Nancy Lough (Educational Psychology and Higher Education), and Lisa Cain, '15 PhD Hospitality Administration, recently published their paper "Exploring Strategies to Improve Gender Equity in a Masculinized Field of Study" in the Journal of Hospitality, Leisure, Sport & Tourism Education. The study sought to identify barriers and facilitators women face when enrolled in PGA golf management programs. The authors found that changes in policies and practices could contribute to an improved rate of persistence for women in these unique academic programs.
