Cass Shum, Ankita Ghosh, and Anthony Gatling (all Hospitality) recently published their manuscript "Why Do Employees Break Rules? Understanding Organizational Rule-Breaking Behaviors in Hospitality" in the International Journal of Hospitality Management. In the manuscript, they identified both prosocial and deviant intentions behind hospitality employee rule-breaking. They also show that the types of rules broken and the rule-breaking consequences depend on the intentions behind rule-breaking Ghosh is a doctoral student.
