Cass Shum (Hospitality) is a co-author of the article "Robots Can’t Take my Job: Antecedents and Outcomes of Gen Z Employees’ Service Robot Risk Awareness," which was published in International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. This paper examines employees' perceived job insecurity threatened by the adoption of service robots. The study shows that Gen Z employees with higher social skills and tech savviness have lower levels of service robot risk awareness and lower industry turnover intention. Transformational leadership attenuates the negative impact of service robot risk awareness.
