Arpita Basu (Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences) recently published an invited review article on the emerging role of dietary fruits and their bioactive compounds in the prevention and management of arthritis in the journal Food and Function. Basu co-authored this paper with Dr. Hal Scofield, a renowned rheumatologist at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. This review is based on Basu's ongoing clinical research on the role of nutritional supplements in arthritis.
