Amanda Melilli, Samantha Godbey and Hee Yeon "Ashley" Park (all Libraries) presented a poster, "Recommended Practices for Library Collections for English Language Learners," at the 2020 Conference for Academic Research in Education. The presentation covered the results of a research study on English Language Learners (ELL) collections and services at UNLV, and encouraged the provision of a diverse range of quality materials. Melilli is head of the Teacher Development & Resources Library, and Godbey is the education librarian. Park is an early childhood education major in the College of Education, and completed a summer information literacy fellowship in the Libraries that worked to further develop collections that support English Language Learners.
