Alberto de Salvatierra (Architecture), working in conjunction with undergraduate student Carley Pasqualotto (Architecture), was selected as a finalist in the 10th Non Architecture Competition: Dying. Their speculative design, "Project OSSuary," calls for the design and construction of Orbital Space Stations (OSS) in low-Earth orbit within the next 20 years to become humankind's insurance policy against a rapidly deteriorating planet. As a finalist entry, "Project OSSuary" will be published in a forthcoming book by Non Architecture focused on alternative designs for cemeteries.
