You must be a music major to be eligible for string scholarship funds. In order to receive scholarship money, you must be registered for applied private lessons on your major instrument and in enrolled in ensembles as determined by string area faculty.
Audition Requirements
UNLV holds scholarship auditions every year; in December and January (all instruments/ voice) and in February (voice students only). You do not need to re-audition if you are a returning student. If you are a new student interested in auditioning for scholarship awards, prepare audition material according to the audition requirements.
