The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV has been reviewed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) and awarded accreditation for two years, starting July 2023, as a provider of continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. Accreditation in the ACCME system seeks to assure the medical community and the public that the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV delivers education that is relevant to clinicians' needs, evidence-based, evaluated for its effectiveness, and independent of commercial influence.
The ACCME awards an initial two-year term for newly accredited CME programs. Throughout this two-year accreditation term, the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program will work to establish itself as an integral part of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, providing high-quality and innovative accredited continuing education opportunities for physicians and healthcare professionals throughout Nevada.
