UNLV State Authorization Reciprocity: Maine
The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) Board of Regents Specifies the constitutional authority under which it was created in Article 1 Section 1, and the institutions under NSHE include the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The entire NSHE handbook is available online. UNLV is a degree-granting institution that is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), which is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education. Furthermore, the state of Nevada is a member of the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) and the University of Nevada Las Vegas-UNLV (“University”) is an approved SARA institution. SARA is an agreement that establishes a common set of standards for offering post-secondary distance education among member states. Learn more about SARA and the benefits to students.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas ("University") is currently not authorized to deliver Distance Education in [title] by virtue of its membership and compliance with SARA both as a state and as an institution.
The “University” has not had any adverse actions taken by a State or accrediting agency against our Distance Education program.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (“University”), aims to resolve all student complaints in an expedient and fair manner. Students wishing to file a complaint should first exhaust all “University” resources. Click the links for any issues regarding Title IX; Grade Disputes; Student Conduct, Academic Misconduct; or ADA Concerns.

Please allow for 10 business days from the time your concern was submitted for UNLV to follow up with you.
