Applied Health Sciences
Our undergraduate Applied Health Sciences program provides students a well-rounded, quality education that prepares them for application to an accredited undergraduate or graduate healthcare program and entry-level healthcare and wellness careers.
Health Physics and Diagnostic Sciences
The academic programs offered by our Department of Health Physics and Diagnostic Sciences trains students for careers in the areas of health physics, medical physics, and comprehensive medical imaging, which encompasses MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-rays.
Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences
The academic programs offered by the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences prepare students for careers in injury prevention and rehabilitation; maintenance and improvement of physical fitness; wellness and performance; and factors governing human movement. Our graduates apply their knowledge of recovery, health, and wellness to significantly impact lives through a wide range of careers.
Occupational Therapy
Our occupational therapy program was granted accreditation status by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE®) in 2022. Designed for entry-level competence, the program immerses students in an intensive curriculum that includes coursework, clinical fieldwork, and a doctoral capstone project. 36 students are admitted into the program each summer.
Physical Therapy
Physical therapists are movement experts who improve quality of life through prescribed exercise, hands-on care, and patient education. Our physical therapy programs prepare students to step into this rewarding profession so they can craft plans to improve or restore function and independence.
Interdisciplinary Programs
The School of Integrated Health Sciences offers two Ph.D. programs: the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Ph.D. and the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Ph.D.
