Art
The Department of Art at UNLV offers 5 NASAD accredited degrees and several exhibition spaces including the Donna Beam Gallery and Marjorie Barrick Museum in the unparalleled urban desert environment of Las Vegas. Highlights of our academic year include a Fall Visiting Artist Lecture Series and a Spring Artist in Residence program.
Dance
If you are interested in a career in dance, the department of dance is among "the Best in the West" and exists in the center of fabulous Las Vegas, one of the fastest growing cultural centers in the United States. Entertainment industry employment and artistic opportunities abound in Las Vegas. Advanced-level dancers are working professionally while completing their dance degrees.
Film
The department of film offers students the exciting opportunity to study film in the heart of Las Vegas, “The Entertainment Capital of the World.” Our efforts contribute to UNLV’s status as a premier metropolitan research university by adapting traditional film education values to meet the needs of individuals, communities, and industries in the 21st century.
Theatre
The Department of Theatre in the College of Fine Arts offers programs in performance, production and technology taught by experienced faculty, while taking advantage of the entertainment richness of Las Vegas.
Schools
Architecture
The School of Architecture provides professional and continuing education in the design professions of architecture, landscape architecture, interior architecture, and design. In addition to addressing the theoretical and pragmatic aspects of general design education, the school focuses on important design issues facing Las Vegas, the state of Nevada, and the Southwest.
Music
The School of Music offers excellent undergraduate and graduate degree programs for students pursuing careers in composition, conducting, jazz studies, music education, and performance. More than 400 music majors study under the guidance of dedicated artist/performers, master teachers, and respected international scholars.

Entertainment Engineering and Design
The program positions students to become successful and competitive in a growing entertainment market by being well-versed in engineering principles, new materials, new and emerging technologies, and traditional theatrical practices while still being able to recognize the artistic demands of the entertainment industry.
