The Finance discipline can be classified into three areas: corporate finance, investments, and finance markets and institutions. This business field is for students who want to understand the financial implications inherent in virtually any business decision.

The Department of Finance offers a major and a minor in finance and prepares its students for successful careers in corporate management, depository institutions, investment management, and financial services.

There are 11 full-time faculty members in the department with four part-time instructors and one full-time support staff member. There are approximately 230 undergraduate majors enrolled in finance courses.
