High school students can enroll in dual enrollment courses offered at UNLV for just $50.00 per course. They are authorized under Nevada statute to enroll in college level courses that may be counted toward both high school and college graduation requirements (i.e., Dual Enrollment).
Multiple pathways exist for students to take dual enrollment courses: some courses are offered on the UNLV campus, others in a virtual or hybrid learning environment, and others at a participating high school site.
A Dual Enrollment course is defined as a college level course that is conducted on the School or University campus, and that is:
- Applicable to an established college academic degree or certificate program, and transferable to a college or university under the jurisdiction of the Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education; and
- Applicable towards the completion of a high school program of study.
Students will be charged a $50 per course fee by University. In addition, there is a nonrefundable non-degree program application fee. Books and materials are not covered in the per course fee.
