The Nevada Regional Test Center (NV RTC), which was established in 2013, is located at the Southern Nevada Water Authority’s River Mountains Water Treatment Facility in Henderson, less than 20 miles from downtown Las Vegas. The UNLV Center for Energy Research maintains the NV RTC through a partnership with Sandia National Laboratories and the Southern Nevada Water Authority. The test facility provides a valuable test bed for validation of existing and emerging solar technologies.
