Undergraduate Graduating Senior Exit Survey
Undergraduate Graduating Senior Exit Survey is administered each year by the Office of the Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Effectiveness. The VPAP surveys UNLV seniors as they file their applications for graduation each semester. Students are asked to report the extent to which they agree they have made progress towards reaching a broad range of academic goals during their time at UNLV. In addition, graduating seniors are asked to report their level of satisfaction with a variety of academic programs and academic support services. Finally, students are asked to report their plans for post-graduation.
First-Year Seminar Learning Outcomes Survey
First-Year Seminar Learning Outcomes Survey is administered to students enrolled in First-Year Seminars (FYS) each fall semester. The purpose of the Learning Outcomes Survey is to measure student perceptions of various aspects related to their academic experiences at UNLV and in their First Year Seminar courses.
Campus Life Assessments
Campus Life Assessments are conducted through the Office of the Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Effectiveness. They administer national student surveys such as: National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI). Campus Life Assessment also stewards the division's participation in NASPA Consortium Studies.
Campus Surveys Project
The Campus Surveys Project is a list of the surveys conducted on campus, who conducts the survey, the target population of the survey, and when the survey is administered. The purpose of this project is to share information across units and to minimize the number of surveys our students are asked to complete. If you are doing a survey on campus, please email assessment@unlv.edu to be on the list.
