Colleagues,

In honor of National Doctors’ Day, which is officially celebrated tomorrow, March 30, I express my most heartfelt gratitude for the more than 150 faculty physicians who have embraced academic health and have chosen to join and remain with the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. We are also grateful for the approximately 400 residents and fellows who are not only completing the graduate medical education programs but are also changing the lives of the many Nevadans and visitors who benefit from their services.

Their unwavering dedication to advancing medical education, patient care, research, and community engagement, while also engaging in administrative and other service related activities, is not only seen but appreciated by all.

With the support of these doctors and our wonderful administrative, classified, and clinical staff, we are transforming healthcare in Southern Nevada while educating and training our future doctors.

On behalf of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, I say THANK YOU to all of our physicians this Doctors’ Day!
