Accountants are trusted, objective professionals who provide information for decision making and serve as business advisers. The Department of Accounting offers an undergraduate degree (BSBA) in accounting, a minor in accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) degree. Our curriculum prepares students to compete in the dynamic accounting field. Our accounting program holds separate accounting accreditation from the AACSB – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

There are 16 full-time faculty members in the department with four part-time instructors and one full-time support staff member. There are approximately 110 graduate students in the Master of Science in Accounting program and 450 undergraduate students.
