The academic growth of UNLV and the national attention focused on its athletic programs have produced a demand for products that display the trademarks and logos of the university. The responsibility of UNLV Licensing is to protect and promote the proper use of these marks. With the help of our licensing agent, The Licensing Resource Group, Inc., UNLV has established an aggressive domestic licensing program. The purchase of authentic licensed merchandise provides revenue to the university and, at the same time, promotes and enhances the university's reputation.

Any potential licensee interested in using the university's marks must first direct all inquiries to CLC. At this site, the user will be able to download forms and request information that will answer questions about the LRG licensing process. UNLV departments and recognized campus organizations may use the university's marks and logos on material that might include stationery, signs, posters, banners, and clothing (all of the above, and limited to use by members). UNLV Licensing Graphic Guidelines and/or UNLV's Identity website must be followed.

UNLV departments and organizations that conduct promotions, giveaways, and fund-raisers, and that offer products for resale that involve the manufacturing of clothing, novelties, and other logo merchandise, are required to submit an internal licensing agreement for approval from the licensing director.

All products must be purchased through vendors licensed by the university through LRG for noncommercial and commercial purposes.

Promotional products and giveaways are eligible for royalty exemptions, subject to review by the licensing director.
