I chose UNLV because it's close to home. I was already familiar with the campus because of the tours I would go on with Nevada State Trio Upward Bound.

My favorite thing to do while on campus is to hang out with friends, and participate in the events that UNLV hosts.

Getting involved on campus is important because you want to have a fun college experience! It's the best way to meet new people and experience different cultures. Because UNLV has a very diverse campus and is always hosting cultural events.

I chose UNLV because I identified with being diverse and outgoing. The spirit of UNLV and how welcoming they are have always inspired me. UNLV is a big positive Outgoing family- I was born to be a Rebel!

My favorite thing to do in campus is grab Starbucks with my friends and enjoy the sunset at the Balcony of the Hospitality Building! – work on homework on the 2 nd  floor of the Lied Library- Have lunch at the Student Union!

I chose UNLV because of how close it was to home. I also loved the friendly and helpful people on campus, making me feel right at home!

It would definitely be UNLV's gym or recreational center because of how easily accessible it is. I also like the Lied Library because of its wide variety of places to study in.

UNLV was an easy choice, it was close to home and affordable. At first, I was planning on transferring out of state, but being at UNLV made me change my mind because I love it here!

While there's a stigma that a lot of computer science and engineering students are pretty antisocial, I actually love talking to people and getting to know them! Something about me that might be unexpected, I love raving and frequently wear my EDM jerseys or bracelets!

Getting involved on campus gives you a much needed social and support network. Having a community of people behind you when you need them is super important to make sure that when things get hard (and they will) that you have people in your corner.

I chose UNLV because it is close to home, not only that but how diverse Las Vegas is. I wanted to be a rebel and get opportunities at UNLV. It is one of those once in a lifetime moments and I want to make the most of it.

Getting involved is important because it will bring new friendships into your life. It will also bring you amazing memories and moments for you to enjoy and look back to in the future. You can shape your future by the network you build, the friends you make, and the clubs you join.

My favorite thing to do on campus is go to the gym, where I can enjoy working out and making new friends.

I chose UNLV for the diversity the campus offers, because of how many student events they hold each year, the many unique places on campus to visit, and for the Theatre program they offer.

The best study spot on campus is the rooftop on the fourth floor of the Hospitality building! You get a view of the whole strip and during the spring I love to study outdoors!

My favorite thing to do on campus is to help out with any of the Theatre Plays going on throughout the year or go to the student union for lunch with friends!

I was born and raised here in Vegas, so UNLV was the closest, most comfortable option for me to continue my post-secondary education. There’s always something happening on campus everyday! I love hanging out with friends on campus, running over to the Student Union to grab a quick bite, and working out at the SWRC! I didn’t want to move away from home for university because I made such amazing friends over these past few years that I still want to stay connected. Also, UNLV has an amazing, established engineering program here that best suits my interests for my career goals later on in my life.

If you see me playing with a cube-like object in my hand during the tour, that is my fidget cube toy! It helps me stay concentrated, in focus, and lowers my anxiety. I am a relatively shy and introverted person but I’m slowly stepping out of my comfort zone and working on my social and communication skills! Even though I’m a new UNLV student, I recently graduated from College of Southern Nevada (CSN) as of Fall 2023, I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions I know!

Personally, I love to study up on the 5th floor in the Lied Library! It has a really cool lounge area that overlooks the whole library with comfy booth seats for me and my friends to hang at! It also has a lovely view over the Vegas Strip and valley with large spanning windows and spacious tables and seats towards the back.

I chose UNLV because of the benefits UNLV was offering me. I did not have to search far for my major and UNLV offers a great criminal justice program. When I was in high school, I took a tour around UNLV and the campus is so unique. It felt like I was not even in Las Vegas. The scenery at UNLV is unlike anything. Everything is walkable. The faculty at UNLV made me feel welcome and helped me every step of the way. 

My favorite thing to do on campus is eat! I love food and UNLV has a lot of it. There is not just one designated area for food. Food is everywhere on campus. If you are on the STEM side of campus, Subway is your best friend. If you are by the Lied Library, Coffee Bean is your best friend. Even when you get off campus, there is food after food places. On top of that, walking distance is not too far, no need to drive! 

I chose UNLV because of how diverse the student body is. I was confident that at UNLV, even though I would be far from home, I would be able to share in others’ celebrations of my own culture. I also love meeting individuals from different backgrounds and cultures, and I knew that UNLV would provide me with that opportunity.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is by far my favorite study spot on campus! We have a bathroom and a microwave inside. But most importantly, we’ve got coffee! When doing solo study sessions, this is a fantastic spot!

Getting involved on campus is extremely important because it helps you get out of your shell. It also helps you build connections and lifelong relationships. 

I chose UNLV because it was close to my family and because of the opportunities offered through the biochemistry program, specifically undergraduate research.

I think getting involved on campus is one of the best things you can do because it helps you meet new people and discover possible new interests.

I really like to study in the library because if you want background noise the second floor is the best, but you also have the option to study in complete silence. A major plus is that we are able to eat and drink in the library so you can always have a snack or coffee while studying.

I chose UNLV because the campus felt like a great place to be. It was the right mix of urban and green and felt like it would provide me with a lot of opportunities. 

My favorite thing to do on campus is explore! There are tons of neat little spots that you can find, and most people don’t take the time to see what there are! You can poke around the different colleges, hang out with the cats, or just find a quiet place to introspect or study. 

I chose UNLV because there's so many unique job opportunities in Las Vegas, especially because of the city's continual growth in the sports industry.

My favorite thing to do on campus is attend events hosted here and swipe all the free merchandise that I can! I also take advantage of my dining plan and eat at the commons with friends.

The best place I have found to study is either the study rooms in the dorms or the second floor of the Hospitality Hall!

I personally chose UNLV due to its Hospitality program rank being #1 best in the nation, and #2 worldwide. As well as the fact that it is occupied by roughly 63% of diverse students. 

The best study spot on campus is Hospitality Hall, ground 4. 

I chose UNLV for its performance arts connection and the history my family has here.
