The department of theatre offers scholarships to students who demonstrate scholastic and creative excellence in the theater arts. The department awards approximately $20-$25,000 in undergraduate scholarships and grant-in-aid funds each academic year.

Traditionally, students receive annual allocations ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 for the academic year. These awards are given to students who earn above average grades and demonstrate scholastic and creative excellence in theater. Financial need is a factor that may be considered when awarding departmental scholarships, however, the department is not authorized to determine financial need. The departmental application must be completed by March 31.

Interested students must also apply for financial aid through UNLV's Financial Aid & Scholarships and complete the online FAFSA application or Alternate Need Determination Form if appropriate.
