About the Scarlet and Gray Heart Distinction

Many UNLV registered student organizations (RSOs) demonstrate an unwavering commitment to raising funds for important causes. Their contributions go on to not only make a difference in our community and beyond, but also inspire others to join in the mission of giving back to others to fuel meaningful change.

To recognize these impactful efforts, RSOs who have raised over $3,000 through their philanthropic endeavors are awarded the Scarlet Heart Distinction, and RSOs that raise any funds for charitable efforts (no matter the amount) are awarded the Gray Heart Distinction.
