About the Committee
The College of Sciences Curriculum Committee (CCC) consists of individuals from each department/school who are members of the Graduate Faculty and who have been chosen in accordance with unit bylaws. The college representative to the University Curriculum Committee shall be an ex officio, non-voting member of the committee and College of Sciences staff members involved in curricular matters (executive associate dean, assistant dean for student success and undergraduate programs, and director of graduate programs) shall also be ex officio, non-voting members.
Committee Responsibilities
- Receive curricular changes, curricular proposals, and degree program initiatives from the various departments/schools.
- Meet three times a semester and as needed at the instruction of the dean.
- Act upon curricular requests as outlined in the College of Sciences bylaws.
Participation from Non-Committee Members
Faculty and staff of the college, members of the university community, and outside guests may be invited to attend individual meetings should topics of discussion require their expertise and participation.
