Monetary Transfer Form

The UNLV Foundation has developed the fiscal year 2022-2023 monetary transfer schedule and instructions for business units, deans and leaders, and development professionals.

Monetary transfer is the process through which philanthropic funds are moved from UNLV Foundation accounts to Workday/Board of Regents accounts within colleges, schools, and units.

To request funds, business units must complete a Monetary Transfer Form (MTF) and send the completed transfer form to the UNLV Foundation at fndpayables@unlv.edu.

Please note that the MTF must be received at least 10 business days prior to the requested transfer date for amounts under $50,000. A transfer request of $50,000 or more requires that the MTF must be received by the Foundation at least 30 calendar days prior to the requested transfer date. These transfer guidelines help ensure that the UNLV Foundation has sufficient time to request funds from investment managers.

Funds are typically transferred on the 10^th and 25^th of each month, adjusted for weekends and holidays. However, there is only one transfer date scheduled per month in November and December.

The MTF is a fillable form provided in an electronic format.

Finally, scholarship funds operate a bit differently. In order for scholarship recipients to receive their support in a timely manner, scholarship transfer requests must be received in time for the July 25th transfer for scholarships awarded in the Fall 2022 semester, December 15 for scholarships awarded in the Spring 2023 semester, subject to the deadlines detailed below.
