Yoshabel Cortez was born and raised in the enchanting Las Vegas desert, where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on graphic design at UNLV. Subsequently, she transitioned to the field of education, pursuing a Master's degree in Education specializing in school counseling. Over the course of eight years, she devoted herself to working with high school students district-wide. Presently, she has re-engaged with higher education and eagerly anticipates leveraging her expertise in secondary education at UNLV as an academic advisor. During her leisure time, she enjoys tending to her garden, practicing yoga, running, and cherishing moments with her son.
