Biography
Dr. Woodstock Tom, assistant professor of clinical sciences, joined UNLV School of Dental Medicine during fall 2021 and works with students in the predoctoral clinics.
Dr. Tom has been published in the Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience journal for his work on drosophila titled, "Disruption of Olfactory Receptor Neuron Pattering in Scutoid Mutant Drosophila."
Dr. Tom earned his bachelor’s in microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
