With 20 years of experience in the health care industry, William has been involved with several capstone projects in Nevada. In 1999 he developed the first Child Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for Nevada’s Department of Health Care Financing and Policy. In 2003, William served as a lead developer for the Digitography™ project. With this groundbreaking and lifesaving graphical interface, cardiologists are now able to analyze and mark up ECG waveforms digitally, in near time, from anywhere around the world. 

Mr. Porter presently works for CHIA as a website and backend cloud developer, with expertise in software design, web security, and project management. Mr. Porter is fluent in Microsoft Azure cloud development, ASP/C#/VB.NET, PHP, SQL, and several supporting scripting languages and frameworks.
