Tom Bjelic is a sound designer with over 30 years of experience in the film and television industry.  During that time, he has amassed hundreds of screen credits and his work has been internationally recognized, earning him an Emmy award and several nominations in addition to his many Directors Guild, Genie, Golden Reel, Gemini and Canadian Screen Awards. Professor Bjelic is also a founding partner of Urban Post, one of Canada’s largest sound and picture post-production studios. Having now shifted his focus to teaching full time at UNLV, he brings a wealth of experience into the classroom, where students are immersed in all aspects of sound design.
