Tashauna was born and raised on the beautiful island nation of Jamaica. In 2009, she moved to the U.S and has lived in Las Vegas since then. She earned her B.S. in human development and family studies from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2019 and then her M.Ed in counseling, student affairs from Northern Arizona University in 2021. As a first-generation student, a student of color, and an immigrant, Tashauna is passionate and dedicated to serving students who hold similar and other identities along their college journey. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and doing zumba.
