Biography
Dr. Seong Park holds two master’s degrees in criminal justice and statistics and received his doctoral degree in criminal justice from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio in 2010. He also possesses a Certificate in GIS and Spatial Analysis from the University of Cincinnati. His research interests include analyzing crime and victimization patterns, with a focus on applying statistical modeling and spatial analysis. His recent research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals including Crime and Delinquency, Feminist Criminology, Victims and Offenders, International Journal of Law, Crime and Justice, and Asian Journal of Criminology. Presently, he serves as an Executive Counselor of Statistics Korea and is the Director of International Liason Division of the Korean Society of Criminology in America.
