Biography

Sean Skottey is a media editor and graphic designer for UNLV-TV housed in the Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies. In addition to pouring into the next generation of media producers, he's also an audio engineer, video editor and graphic designer. As a proud Henderson native, he's worked in broadcasting and media production since the '90s. Starting out in radio when he was just 12 years old, he then studied TV production at SECTA and graduated Magna Cum Laude from one of our first Journalism and Media Studies classes. He loves sharing his passion for media and storytelling throughout the campus and community. Having worked in traditional broadcasting as well as non-profit and church communication, he loves connecting with new people so he can serve and add value to them. Sean credits a huge amount of his success to incredible mentors who he's developed very intentional relationships with. While he enjoys using technology, his heart is always with his wife, children and team who he sees as his true life's work.
