Associate Professor Sara Rosenkranz joined the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences in August 2022.

Dr. Rosenkranz teaches Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences graduate courses, and she is a graduate faculty member in the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Ph.D. program. Rosenkranz earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Kansas and her master’s degree in Kinesiology and Ph.D. in Human Nutrition from Kansas State University.  Her research integrates nutrition, physical activity, and biomedical and behavioral outcomes.

Rosenkranz focuses primarily on the role of lifestyle on cardiometabolic outcomes, including blood glucose, insulin, HbA1c, blood lipids, oxidative stress, and inflammation.
