Rosa is originally from Las Vegas but has spent a significant amount of time in Washington state. In Washington, Rosa studied at Gonzaga University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language from Gonzaga University. Before becoming an advisor, Rosa lived in South Korea as an English teacher for a few years. Most recently, Rosa worked at CSN as an academic advisor and adjunct ESL Instructor where her passion for working with students in the higher education setting grew. Rosa enjoys spending time with her family and developing new schools through professional development opportunities.
