Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives and Lifelong Learning
Biography
Robert Levrant, Ph.D., (he/him) is the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives and Lifelong Learning for the Division of Educational Outreach. In his role, Levrant leads non-credit workforce development education, serves as the director of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNLV, and provides leadership to other strategic initiatives for Educational Outreach and Academic Affairs. Levrant’s research focuses primarily on workplace learning, mentoring and epistemic cognition. He also teaches Educational Psychology and Qualitative Research Methodologies. In addition to a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from UNLV, Levrant has a Bachelor of Science degree in Regional Planning and a Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education, both from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Before joining UNLV in 2015, he previously worked for the city of Las Vegas, Southern Nevada Home Builders Association, and Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana.
