Richard Contreras is an Aircraft Mechanic  from Las Vegas, Nevada. Originally from Oxnard, California Richard Joined the United States Air Force as active duty in 2011, separated in 2015 and was in the Air Force Reserves until 2017. In 2020 Richard Graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelors in Business Entrepreneurship. Richard is Currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno  and working for his Masters in Business Analytics.

Richard has a passion for aviation and feels fortunate to have the opportunity to do it as a career. In his spare time Richard enjoys spending time with his wife, dogs and cats. Richard is also an enthusiastic motorcycle rider and can often be seen at local track days or enjoying the sights and roads of Las Vegas. Richard volunteers his time picking up trash from local parks with friends and with local boxing charities in the underserved Las Vegas community. Richard truly enjoys working with Veterans, fellow alumni and giving back to the community.
