DJ name: DJ Bolim
Biography
Las Vegas native Randy Lim (also known as DJ Bolim) is a KUNV mix DJ workshop alumni, current mechanical engineering junior at UNLV, and the youngest member of the Rebel DJ team.
His interest in DJing sparked from songs like “Clarity” by Zedd and “Titanium” by David Guetta, which led him to decided to take his first ever DJ lesson back in high school, which was offered by a DJ from Craigslist. His favorite genre to mix is electronic dance music, specifically trap and melodic dubstep, but can also mix other genres such as hip-hop, R&B, and Top 40.
Some reputable places DJ Bolim has performed at is the Illuminarium at Area 15, the Clark County Government Center for KUNV 91.5 FM’s “Jazz in the Park” event series (with an attendance of 500+ people), and various bars in Downtown
Vegas (Fremont Street). DJ Bolim’s biggest goals are to headline at big EDM festivals, such as EDC, and to open up for his favorite EMD DJs: ARMNHMR, Excision, and San Holo. “Music makes me happy,” says Lim. “If I can have a career in making other people happy through music, that’s a win-win for me!”
