Penny Morrison has been a Part-Time Instructor at UNLV since 2018. She earned her bachelor of science degree and Nursing Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing from Canada, as well as her master's degree in nursing education and doctoral degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Penny has worked in many different areas throughout her nursing career including mental health, medical surgical (cardiac, respiratory/infectious disease/ case management), and nursing education, including the service of providing NCLEX reviews to American Samoa School of Nursing. She taught nursing at University of Houston as an Assistant Professor and her scientific article “Oncology Expressive Arts: Providing a Window to Reflect on a Stressful Experience” was published in the Journal of Psychosocial Oncology, 2022.
