Biography

Nikki Corda is the executive director and founder of Nevada Women’s Film Festival and the president of the nonprofit, Women in Film Nevada. She spent her early career in feature film story development in Los Angeles, with stints at Twentieth Century Fox and Michael Douglas’s company at Paramount.

Nikki began independent filmmaking with the award-winning documentary, "Urban Rescuers", and continues to follow her passion for nonfiction film in her teaching and her business, Life-Portraits.

Nikki holds a B.S. in film from Boston University and an MFA in creative nonfiction from Sierra Nevada College (now UNR Tahoe).
