Myke Molina (Psychology, ’03) is the academic eligibility specialist for Football. Myke has worked in various financial and customer service-oriented positions across campus since 1994.

In 2008, Myke began working in Athletic Administration in the Athletic Business Office handling team travel and accounts payable for UNLV Athletics and the Thomas & Mack Facilities. In 2009, he accepted the position of UNLV athletic scholarship program coordinator within the Athletic Business Office. In this role, his duties were to oversee the awarding and auditing of UNLV student-athlete scholarships while monitoring NCAA, Mountain West Conference (MWC), State of Nevada, and University rules and regulations.

Since accepting that role and being able to assist student-athletes from diverse financial backgrounds, Myke became passionate about counseling and teaching students the importance of financial literacy. Myke served in many student-athlete support groups and committees. During this time, he created the Athletic Business Office Internship program to introduce student-athletes to the field of athletic administration all while gaining valuable job experience.

In 2018, Myke served as the UNLV Student Accounts Office, where he assisted and counseled the entire UNLV population and families with their student account and financial issues. This role led him to earn the 2019 Employee of the Year for UNLV’s Business Affairs Division. In January of 2023, Myke returned to working specifically with student-athletes by starting his current role as academic eligibility specialist for football.
