Biography
Monica is a doctoral student in educational psychology and higher education. Her research interest includes the development of growth mindset and academic self-efficacy among the higher education population. She is currently studying the theory of growth mindset educational practices to help college students persevere through their academic challenges and succeed in college. Monica also works as a graduate research assistant pursuing social justice and critical thinking and motivation research. Monica has found a passion for research and aims to use her research knowledge and skills to improve and enhance educational practices in higher education institutions and beyond.
Current Research: Information Literacy Skills, Critical Thinking, and Motivation.
