Dr. Moni Ahmadian, visiting assistant professor, joined UNLV School of Dental Medicine in fall 2019 and teaches general pathology, and oral and maxillofacial pathology within the department of Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Ahmadian earned his bachelor’s in biochemistry from University of Nevada, Reno, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from UNLV School of Dental Medicine. He completed his specialty training in oral and maxillofacial pathology at New York Presbyterian Queens.

Dr. Ahmadian is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and a fellow at the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Nevada Dental Association. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Ahmadian participates in clinical oral pathology consultations within the School of Dental Medicine.
