Biography

Molly Redfield is a graduate teaching and research assistant for the College of Fine Arts at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she is pursuing her doctorate of musical arts degree with an emphasis in classical bass performance. She serves as the first leadership fellow to Dr. Nancy J. Uscher, dean of the College of Fine Arts. Redfield earned her master's degree in jazz studies from UNLV and was a graduate teaching assistant for the Division of Jazz Studies and Commercial Music. Prior to attending UNLV, Redfield attended California State University, Sacramento where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned her bachelor of music education, with an emphasis in classical bass performance, and a bachelor of music, jazz bass performance.
